Two men were arrested in St Elizabeth following a joint police-military operation that led to the seizure of 170 pounds of ganja in Oxford.&nbsp;
Authorities also destroyed approximately two acres of ganja in Watchwell.&nbsp;
The operations are part of ongoing efforts to curb the drugs-for-guns trade in the parish.

The St Elizabeth Police continues to clap down on the illegal drugs for gun trade in the parish. On Wednesday, a joint military operation comprised of the St. Elizabeth Division, Area 3 AFAT, Canine Division, PSTEB, Specialized Operations, FNID and the Jamaica Defence Force conducted a series of Target Operations in several communities to include Oxford, Cambridge, Spring Park, Luana gardens, Watchwell, Galleon Beach and Junction.
Two male individuals were arrested in Oxford and are being questioned in relation to the seizure of 170 pounds of ganja found in a premises in the Oxford community.&nbsp;
In the meantime, approximately 2 acres of ganja was destroyed in the Watchell area. No one was arrested in this incident.
