From Chapelton Maroons to Phoenix Chapelton Maroons Football Club &mdash; Phoenix Academy has officially acquired the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) team.
The official signing took place in CVM&rsquo;s main boardroom on Friday evening, with Phoenix Academy Founder Craig Butler, his daughter and new club President Kaycie Butler, the club&rsquo;s legal representatives, and others in attendance.
During an interview at CVM, Kaycie said, &lsquo;We will have more control over this club and be more efficient in its further development and growth.&rsquo;
&lsquo;It&rsquo;s time for somebody more experienced to take over and take the mantle to the next level,&rsquo; added Courtney Patterson, company secretary for the former Chapelton Maroons, in an interview with CVM's Executive Producer - Sports Content, Jordan Forte.
