Former Petrojam executives, Dr. Perceval Bahado-Singh and Floyd Grindley pleaded not guilty to corrupt charges laid against them by the Major Organized Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) after a multi-jurisdictional investigation.
Both men pleaded not guilty when they appeared before Chief Parish Court Judge, Justice Chester Crooks.
Dr. Perceval Bahado Singh is being represented by Attorney, Bert Samuels while the former Petrojam General Manager, Floyd Grindley is being represented by Bianca Samuels.
When they return on Thursday, bail conditions are expected to be outlined by the judge.
This as the prosecution raised concerns that the bail extensions were without conditions, especially as both men live in the United States.
Meanwhile, Bert Samuels says his client, Dr. Perceval Bahado-Singh had repaid the money even before Bahado-Singh was arrested.
He says he is ready to go to trial.
The two men were arrested and charged by the Major Organized Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency for their involvement in fraudulent activities at the state owned refinery.
Dr. Bahado Singh was charged with twelve counts of obtaining money under false pretense while Floyd Grindley was charged with aiding and abetting and obtaining money by means of false pretense.
