Oceans are being filled with plastic, the environment is being polluted and living organisms are being negatively impacted. Mother earth is showing the disadvantages of the actions of some and the inactivity of others – as nature continues to suffer.
Today is Earth Day, which is observed annually on April 22 in more than 190 countries, which is being marked this year under the theme ‘restore the earth’. The Jamaica Climate Change Youth Council will be staging a week of activities in recognition of Earth Day 2021.
