Four men were taken into police custody following a gun seizure in the Denham Town, Kingston During the heavy rains on July 4, 2021.
Despite several videos surfacing allegedly from the community yesterday, July 5, 2021 some of the claims remain unconfirmed.
CVM Live obtained video footage of members of the security forces apprehending men in the community.
And while the men were being detained, it appears that gunshots were being fired in another section of the community, which is currently under a zone of special operation (SOE).
The security measure has been in place since October 2017.
Ground Commander Deputy Superintendent George McFarlane says the men were taken into custody in relation to the seizure of the pistol.
He says operations are being carried out based on intelligence obtained.
