The double murder of 65-year-Old Henry ‘Mas Hen’ Jones and 44-year-old Brian ‘Fowlie’ Chamber has left residents of Crowder, in Grange Hill Westmoreland in a flurry of emotions. Farmers urged to be more watchful as it relates to their livestock and crops.
Praedial Larceny is believed to be the motive behind the murders. Residents say that incidents of this degree are not common in the area. The commanding officer of the Westmoreland police division, Superintendent Robert Gordon shares the same sentiment as he undoubtedly states that Praedial Larceny feeds into organized crime as a whole.
Superintendent Gordon is encouraging farmers to remain vigilant and report to the police in the initial stages of a missing case or any instances of Praedial Larceny.
The sister of Brian Chamber says the police were of little help in finding her deceased brother on Tuesday.
