Members of the Jamaica Police Federation returned to the Supreme Court on Thursday, December 16, for a pre-trial regarding outstanding wages owed over a ten-year period. The government had agreed to pay for six of the ten years; however, members of the federation were then told that payments would have been made from 2019 to 2021. This then sparked outrage causing members of the force to stage a protest in Downtown, Kingston.
