Over eleven thousand tablets were provided by E-Learning Jamaica Company Limited; the move is in keeping with the government’s digital transformation initiative. The institution provided approximately 11,000 tablets for students.
Speaking at the handing over event, Project Manager of E-Learning Jamaica Michele Baboolal says thousands of tablets have been distributed to teachers and students in 2021.
Also speaking at the event was Education Minister Fayval Williams, who says she is pleased with the resumption of face-to-face learning, while reiterating the importance of the COVID-19 protocols.
