The police have now launched a major probe, following the discovery of the body of 65 year old Clyde Taylor, who was found with several chop wounds to his body.
It’s the realization of a family’s worst nightmare, as the manhunt launched for Taylor who went missing for several days, ended in tragedy. It appears Kheanj Taylor’s greatest fear has become a reality, as the police found her 65-year-old father’s body in the trunk of his Nissan car in the bushes of Top Hill, Runaway Bay in St. Ann, with multiple chop wounds.
The 65-year-old hotel manager and father of three was reported missing on Saturday after he left his Salem home in the parish, and didn’t return.
Head of the St. Ann police division, Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell says the police found the body at about 12:30 Thursday afternoon. He says they currently have one suspect in custody. Powell says the discovery of Taylor’s body is as a result of an intense level of investigative work from the JCF. He assures the family the police will do its best to solve the case.
