Prime Minister Andrew Holness has charged members of the Jamaica Rifle Association to be definitive in their position against illegal firearms. He addressed the members on Sunday noting that the new Firearms bill being debated should not be seen as a tool of fear for legal firearm users. He says the challenge is that Jamaicans are not in unison in how they approach punishing persons caught with illegal guns.
