Speaking at the new Green Divisional Conference in Manchester, Opposition Member Of Parliament, for North West Manchester, Mikael Phillips, criticized the government’s housing solutions for persons in need.

Phillips says increasing the number of contributors to apply for housing through the national housing trust, is misguided. Phillips is criticizing the prime minister’s pronouncement on the National Housing Trust, allowing up to three contributors to apply for a two bedroom or larger unit, to better improve affordability.

Phillips in condemning this move and says this is a backward step. He says the government is bankrupt of ideas, in finding housing solutions for citizens in need.

MP Phillips asserts that the opposition is resolute in protecting the objectives of the NHT. Meanwhile, the condemnation continues, as former Opposition Senator, Wentworth Skeffrey, minced no words on the alleged statements made by the Education Minister, Fayval Williams, relating to parents sending children to school. Skeffrey is also insisting the government increases the daily allowance for students on the PATH program.
