Minister without portfolio on Economic Growth and Job Creation Matthew Samuda, says this project is both symbolic and of practical importance. He affirms the government will uphold its mandate in ensuring Jamaicans have full access to water connectivity.
Samuda also alluded to Finance Minister Nigel Clarke‘s announcement of funds invested towards trucking water to areas recording low rainfall. In regards to the estimates of laying the pipeline, he outlined the costs.
