What is quilling art? Is it a new art form? No it’s not. Quilling is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs.
Davin Marriott is a paper quilled artist who hails from the parish of Portland. His love for art and craft started in primary school. He always had a niche for it but never followed through with it. Nevertheless, he has always been fascinated about creation and wanted to explore the art of creation himself. In his spare time, Marriott spends his time in chilling with friends and brainstorming new idea of craft-making or art designs he can recreate using paper.
Marriott started this business around July 2019 from the idea of making piñata for kid’s parties with the intent to build his brand. He was researching how to create specific piñata and that’s when he discovered paper quilling. He developed a great liking towards it and then taught myself how to do it. Ever since then he has been creating quilled art for clients all over.
