Today marks the third week since the full resumption of face-to-face learning with the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic. Principal of Dunrobin Primary Sacheel Grant-Henry says since schools reopened their doors on September 5, they have been sailing smoothly. She says the students were delighted to return to full face-to-face learning. She adds all the necessary preparation was made prior to the start of the new academic year.
With teacher migration an ongoing conversation, Mrs. Grant-Henry notes it has not impacted her institution. She also notes the majority of the students to date have been performing up to standard. The principal says teachers are equipped with the necessary action plans for students who may have fallen behind.
Grant Henry says the school will not completely abolish the online learning modality, as it will be incorporated with face-to-face learning.
