Assistant Curator at the St Andrew Parish Church, Reverend Bertram Gayle, is encouraging schools to avoid discrimination against African hairstyles. He says there is a need for the Education Ministry to intervene adding some students are allegedly being denied their right to an education.
Remove the colonial shackles, and relax rules to allow students to freely express their cultural identity within schools. He says school rules should be relaxed to allow students to freely express their culture. Watch the full report:
