The charges come days after the Prime Minister told Parliament the police will be targeting those involved in the illegal sale of the lands in Clifton. This followed the demolition of illegal structures on the Bernard Lodge farmlands on October 6, and a visit by the Prime Minister to the area.
The residents have since decided to take legal action against the Government of Jamaica.
Meantime, CVM LIVE understands there are at least three other persons of interest being sought in relation to the matter.
