What started as a stress reliever during the Covid -19 pandemic is now a well-established business. Owner of Krystale Kutz Designz, Krystale Branden-Hind left her corporate job to become an entrepreneur. Krystale Kutz Designz sells a wide variety of products such as customized pillowcases, water bottles, and other household office items.
Hind notes that working from home during the pandemic and it was a very stressful period for her family, particularly when it was time to return to work and she had nowhere to leave her kids. With this in mind, she took a calculated risk and resign from her job to become an entrepreneur.
Since the establishment of Krystale Kutz Designz, the company has expanded exponentially with products in several local businesses, including Fontana Pharmacy, Liguanea Drug and Garden store, and My Jamaica Store. In the future, Hind would like to open a physical location for her business and give back to her community through a women’s shelter dedicated to victims of domestic violence.
