The country’s Finance Minister Dr Nigel Clarke on Tuesday proposed the first supplementary estimates to bolster more spend for the financial year 2022/23 amid the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, and other global and economic challenges.
He notes that despite some obstacles Jamaica’s economy continued to perform well, citing an expected 65.5 billion dollar increase in revenue inflow. Money, he intends to use to help cushion the economy and the country’s most vulnerable. Watch the report for more details:
