A family dispute has ended in tragedy, this time in Lititz, St. Elizabeth, where one brother allegedly used his van to mow down the other, killing him. The incident has left the community in mourning, and the siblings’ mother questioned the bizarre act of violence. These emotions flooded the community of Lititz, in St Elizabeth following the killing of 28-year-old Renroy Francis, by his younger brother on Monday night. His death stems from an altercation that started at a bar, over paying a bill.
When the argument escalated outside the establishment, Nicholas Francis allegedly used his motor vehicle to hit his brother, before fleeing the scene. Renroy was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Their mother Michelle Lawes is left struggling to piece together what could have provoked this vile act. She notes, their disagreements were never this aggressive. Overwhelmed with emotions, she says she wishes to ignore this reality, however, she cannot help but mourn the death of her son.
One resident, Anthony Williams, who has known the brothers for years, says he was stiffened by shock when he heard the news. He extends his condolences to the mother. Watch the report:
