The Acting Director of Institutional Research at the Northern Caribbean University (NCU), Dr Paul Bourne, is issuing a challenge to Jamaicans this festive season. His challenge follows recent studies that found every Jamaican woman is depressed some more severely than others to which more than 80% admitted they felt depressed. He also found that for every two female considered depressed there is at least one male, who is struggling with depression locally, reflective of the international statistics. Dr bourne is also of the view that the pandemic of over two years now has played a major role in their latest depression findings.
