A daring Saturday night attack at a shop in Darlow, Mocho in Clarendon left two men dead and four others injured. It is the second mass shooting incident in days following a brazen shooting of guests at a wedding in Negril last week in which one woman died. Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for North Central Clarendon, Robert Nesta Morgan extends condolences to the grieving family, who sadly is no stranger to the news of death.
Relatives tell our news team; the latest incident brings to five the number of people killed in the family since 2021. Morgan adds the community is typically calm, noting this level of violence is unwelcome and unfamiliar to his constituents.
