The Health Authority has responded to and described as misleading a recent video of two accident victims allegedly in pain on hospital grounds with no help rendered in St Ann recently. The Authority notes with concern the effort to suggest no information was had by residents as to the limited services they render akin to a clinic at certain hours.
The video went on to note that no help was rendered to get the injured and groaning men to the major hospital in the parish, despite there being ambulances on hand. However, it was a different story from that shared by the Parish Manager Nadia Nunes, Wednesday. Nunes explains the facility is currently operating like a clinic and notes there were indeed staff at the facility just not those equipped to treat those cases. She adds they were also advised to continue on to the St Ann’s Bay Hospital. Watch the report:
