Dr Bruke says the situation is causing immense hardship and distress for individuals who rely on these funds for their daily sustenance, and now they must endure further delays as a result of the misappropriation of funds. Internal audits conducted at the Ministry reveal a startling revelation that payments made under the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) exceed more than double the amount that should have been paid based on the pension order books issued by the Ministry.
