Opposition Spokesperson on Education, Damion Crawford, responded to the data shared by the Ministry of Education during a recent post-cabinet briefing. While Crawford acknowledges that he cannot directly challenge the numbers provided by the Minister, he maintains his belief that she is misguided regarding the imminent crisis that people are discussing. To address this issue, he proposes a range of incentives aimed at curbing the spread of the “predicting” movement from its early stages.
Not questioning the Minister’s numbers but still not confident about them, Opposition Spokesman on Education Damion Crawford says he hopes the 43% reduction is maintained. Despite Williams insisting that the strategies implemented last year to help curve vacancies should be adopted for the new term, Crawford says they were not effective. Watch the report:
