The Jamaica Chamber of Commerce ( JCC), Jamaica Manufacturers and Exports Association (JMEA), and the Private Sector of Jamaica (PSOJ) in a joint statement expressed their concern that many companies do not have the required resources to follow government guidelines.
The organizations are advising members to ensure that the workplace is properly equipped to protect their employees before opting to reopen.
Going back to work should be less about the date, and more about a state of readiness of any business or industry. That is the view of three major private sector organizations.
