CVM LIVE visited a few fast-food restaurants on Constant Spring Road to observe their operations in light of the styrofoam ban as they resume their first day of business for 2020. The government has banned the local manufacture, distribution, sale, and use of expanded polystyrene foam products used in the food and beverage industry.
However, they are questioning whether eating healthier costs more, citing that the price of the alternative boxes is almost 10 times the price of styrofoam.
