Judiciary Charges Govt to move mentally ill inmates to a psychiatric facility – Court Administration Jamaica (CAJ) is calling on the removal of all mentally disordered defendants locked up in prisons across the island to a psychiatric facility. The mental health offenders’ inquiry committee was commissioned following increased reports of the mentally ill people being mistreated and being denied access to justice.
