National Reserve to be deployed to aid the JCF in crime-fighting – Over the next couple of weeks, the National Reserve will be deployed across the island to support the efforts of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), in keeping the nation safe from criminal elements.
The heightened security presence is deemed necessary for the upcoming Yuletide season (time around the Christmas season), which based on previous trends, the country may see an upsurge in robberies and other types of crimes in and around commercial and public districts.
