HIV – There is an epidemic within the pandemic, HIV/AIDS. As the world recognizes world aids day on December 1, there are groups still working to break the stigma associated with the virus.
The Caribbean vulnerable communities’ coalition is another group working with people living with HIV.
Executive Director Ivan says the Coronavirus has brought on its challenges to people living with hiv. He’s urging that the Govt increases funding to assist the cause.
Meanwhile, in parliament, Health Minister Dr. Chris Tufton vowed to increase access to treatment of HIV which is free at public health facilities.
