Homes in Jamaica – A lot of conversation still surrounds the recent proposal for the extension of contributions from the National Housing Trust (NHT) to support the budget.
In parliament on Tuesday Finance Minister, Dr. Nigel Clarke tabled a bill to facilitate the continued withdrawal of $11.4 billion per annum from the agency for the next five years.
Speaking on CVM Live last evening, Dr. Clarke maintains that the policy focus of the government will not be affected.
