Crossfire victim requesting help: A mother is appealing to the public for help, after she was incapacitated some years ago.
Sackena Watson, a survivor of a crossfire in September 2019 is now struggling to make ends meet after her injuries have left her with little function in her arms.
The thirty-four-year-old mother of four says before the incident, she was employed and was able to care for her family.
But after going to bed one night all that changed when she woke up a month later in the hospital.
She recalls the moment before her whole life changed.
Watson now lives with her mother who is her main support system.
However, the grandmother who is a higgler struggles to keep the family afloat during the pandemic because she is at a high risk of contracting the COVID-19.
Watson believes physiotherapy will equip her to once again fend for her family, but she says she simply cannot afford it.
