The driver of the getaway car, in the murder of fifty-one-year-old Andrea Lowe-Garwood, has pleaded guilty to illegal possession of firearm and accessory after the fact.
He is twenty-three-year-old Leon Hine. He is expected to be sentenced on March 12.
He was initially charged for murder, illegal possession of firearm, accessory before the fact, accessory after the fact, conspiracy to commit murder and misprision of felony.
Reports are that Mrs. Garwood was worshiping at church, when a man posing as a member of the congregation walked over to her and shot her several times in the upper body.
She was taken to hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.
Hines allegedly drove a white Toyota Allion motorcar transporting the other two accused men to the church and later led to them escaping.
Hines appeared before the Home Circuit Court in Kingston on Thursday, February 18, where he signed the plea agreement.
