A mom, wife, business owner, poet, nurse and author, Sonsie Brown wrote “A Child’s Prayer” as she wanted to be a voice and create a bridge for those that feel they have no voice. Brown states that in her line of work she has met many children who have experienced very dark times. Through her mentorship programs and work as a nurse she tries to meet children at their point of need by simply speaking their language. Her desire is to help increase hope and faith
through the prayer of the innocent. She states that she wanted to create an awareness for the need to still teach our
children the value of prayer and letting them know that their prayers are being heard, no matter
your circumstance or experience.
The book is being released on December 26th. Her goal is to give a child who feels voiceless, the encouragement they
need to speak to God.
