Shanice Phillips is a 25-year-old creative intellectual born in the banana parish St. Mary. She completed her high school studies at Meadowbrook high school. She then went on to the University of the West Indies where she completed her studies in Gender Development and Cultural Studies. She has worked as a background vocalist for several artistes including Stonebwoy, Koffee, Lila Ike, Jesse Royal, Mortimer, Yaksta, Yaadcore, and many others. However, she has stepped into the spotlight with her new single ‘Fighting Armour.’ She joined us on Sunrise to share more about her single.
