Arthur Loves To Run: A Short Story About Arthur Wint

The book “Arthur Loves To Run: A Short Story About Arthur Wint, Jamaica’s First Olympic Gold Medalist” is written by his Author Wint’s daughter Colleen Wint Bond and will be released today (May 25) his birthday. The book is centered around Arthur a small Jamaican boy who loves to run and follows his journey from the lush Jamaican countryside where he runs with his friends and siblings, to Kingston city where he competes in big races and becomes a local champion. Later, as a young man, he travels across the ocean to London to compete in the Olympic Games, one of the biggest sporting events in the world. Everyone expects him to do well. She shared her beloved moments and more about the book.
