Georgette McGlashen-Miller is a Jamaican Language Facilitator and advocate at Chatwa Jamaica, a patwa language business. She has designed a fun and exciting way to allow readers to speak, read and write Jamaican Patwa while learning about the Jamaican culture with her book called ‘Brieks Taim’. The book speaks about the most enjoyable time of day for children, especially during school time. The moment the bell rings, fruits, sandwiches, juices, and children playing fills the atmosphere. Brieks Taim captures the fun social interaction that children share while creating bonds and making life-long friendships, as social and emotional development takes place. Creator, Georgette McGlashen-Miller joined us on Sunrise to share more about the book.
