Today, October 12, 2022 is being celebrated as National Alumni Day under the theme “Building with Integrity in Pursuit of Excellence”. This marks the second observances of National Alumni Day where Jamaicans locally and internationally take the opportunity to celebrate the educational institutions which they credit for their development. In so doing, appreciation is given to the past students and alumni associations at these instituation and the various levels of the educational spectrum.
The Jamaica Alumni Association of High Schools (JAAHS), is focusing on secondary level instutions, to increases its awareness across the country with the forty four member associations across the fourteen parishes. These alumni have impacted the growth and development of students significantly by contributing to student welfare, provide bursaries and schaloarships, improving schools, and being positive role models.
