This allowed Jones to expand his understanding of color psychology, and the way colors affect and convey moods. From this Tropical Realism Art was established. An art style that Jone describes as a synergy of impressionism, realism, cubism and pop art and is sentimentally linked to the Caribbean, consisting of captivating landscapes and cultural activities.

Jones grew up in the rural community of Cedars, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, a village located approximately forty-minute away from the capital Kingstown where he attended school. His daily commute stimulated his imagination and creative potential. This enabled Jones to sell his first art piece at the age of twelve.
Jones is passionate about charitable, environmental, health, food security and social justice issues. His dream is to use his art and canvas to influence society culturally, educationally and bring together aspects of hospitality, lifestyle, food and drink and conservation.
