Winnifred Pearl Stern turns 106 years old today (April 18) but looking at her, you could never tell. Pearl Stern was born on April 18, 1917, in the community of Wait-A-Bit, Trelawny, to a mother who was a dressmaker, and a father who was a businessman, Winnifred is the third of seven children for her parents. Despite Stern’s age she reads without glasses, walks unassisted, and still takes care of her home. She joined us to share a few life lessons and story with her daughters Normadelle Stern Whittle and Jacqueline Stern Clarke. Watch the interview below.
