Celebrating The Hard Work of Paediatricians

Dr. Tendai Williams is a Paediatrician at the Princess Margaret Hospital in St. Thomas. The Guyanese who has been living in Jamaica for the past 10 years has worked at several institutions across the island, including the Savanna-la-Mar Hospital, Spanish Town Hospital, and the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI).

As the first full time Paediatrician employed at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Dr. Williams has performed numerous duties impacting children at both the inpatient and outpatient levels.

Of note, throughout the pandemic, the facility was able to manage all paediatric patients effectively without need for transfers to higher institutions.
