November 9th is World Adoption Day, an occasion to give a voice to the adoption community -adoptees, adoptive parents, siblings of adoptees, or those on the waiting list. While activities are being planned to draw awareness to adoption, the adoption community is being encouraged to share their stories to remove the stigma attached, so persons can feel more comfortable as they navigate their adoption journey.
