Do You Know CPR? – that’s a popular question asked during certain emergency scenes, but what is it really? Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency lifesaving procedure that is performed when the heartbeat stops. It combines chest compressions often with artificial ventilation in an attempt to manually prolong or preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest.

To educate us more on the measures that can be taken before, during, or after an incident, we have the Heart Foundation. They will also demonstrate some effective ways to do C.P.R during a pandemic – Alonzo Mothersill, Health Education and Training Coordinator, and Taneisha Goldson, C.P.R Instructor.
