How relevant is independence?

In wrapping up our ’emanci-pendence’ celebrations, today we discuss the topic with Arts Marketing Specialist Colleen Douglas and Social Commentator Nadine Spence.

“One of the key aspects of Jamaica’s culture is that we are overly nationalistic”, Spence adds.

Additionally, this nationalism is often seen when we are overseas; a sense of national pride, when abroad.
