Blane Stoddart, co-founder of ‘Team Jamaica Bickle’ in Philadelphia and an active member of the Jamaica Diaspora, embarks on a new mission to support Jamaica. Alongside a dedicated group of diaspora leaders, he spearheads a groundbreaking campaign to raise J$150 million for the momentous 150th anniversary of Hope Gardens, affectionately known as ‘Jamaica’s Garden.’ This botanical treasure holds immense cultural and ecological significance as the country’s largest remaining public green space. Starting in September, the fundraising efforts mark the first phase of an ambitious plan to revolutionize Hope Gardens like never before. The ultimate goal is to raise J$150 million Jamaican dollars to fuel the development of the Hope Royal Botanic Gardens.
