Empowering Women: COVID – 19 Recovery Project To Help Women Cope – in this segment we focused on an initiative called the Women Economy Empowerment Project (WEEP) which is conceptualized by the Girls to Women Development Foundation which was in response to a proposal from the Civil Society Boost Initiative funded by the European Union.
We’re now going to look into the project which, in the light of the sixteen (16) days of activism for no violence against women, has been helping women cope with the economic fall-outs of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
So far the women were exposed to Digital marketing, entrepreneurship training, pitching their business, social marketing, and listening to motivational speakers and other entrepreneurs.
