Jamaican-born Author and Public Speaker Tony Kelly is a diabetes advocate and a firm believer in giving back to the community. He will be hosting a free Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, November 5, at the Church of God of Prophecy, 41 Old Harbour Road starting at 9 am. The wellness fair is geared toward providing valuable insight into managing chronic diseases such as diabetes which he has managed for more than eighteen years with no medication, just diet and exercise. Kelly notes, however, that he will not be advising people not to use medication.
Kelly is a graduate of the Mico Teachers’ College and Birmingham University, England. He taught English and Religious Education in a few Kingston high schools and worked with the local and central government.
