The book “I Shall Prevail” chronicles the journeys of two women, mother, and daughter, as they fight for dear life. It features Janett Jonas as she fights to regain her livelihood after a stroke. But shadowing her journey is her daughter, Adiese Jonas- Murphy, as she fights to renew her spiritual life by exercising faith in the healing power of God. The juxtaposed journeys overlap into a tremendous testimony of faith. The book also features a compilation of the author’s daily journals showcasing her mother’s recovery. “I Shall Prevail” cuts across races and ethnicities, cultural divides, age groups, religious systems, gender and classes. It brings to the fore the primary issue of trusting God’s providence during adversities. Author, Adiese Jonas-Murphy shares more about her book on Sunrise. Watch the full interview below.
