“It is never too late to follow your dreams” is a quote/ phrase that we all have heard several times but is it a true one? Yes, it is. One perfect example is Actress, Sherly Lee Ralph who recently won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, after forty years in the industry. We all have dreams, inspiration and life goals that we want to achieve. For instance, the desire to get married before twenty-five, become a homeowner by thirty and own a few luxurious cars.
Despite these dreams and wishes many of us are confused as to where we should begin. Some people have a road map while others do not and limit themselves from certain life-changing opportunities and give up on their dreams. This begs the question is success a mindset or an act of hard work? Arguably, it is a combination of both a successful mindset and hard work that makes dreams come through. We often find excuses such as “I am too old to start”, “I do not have enough money” and “I will start tomorrow” but tomorrow never comes. Yes, there are challenges and roadblocks that one will encounter but if one should remain fixated on the negatives one will give up on their dreams and life goals.
