65,000 doses of vaccine is on the island: Last week when the country was grappling with vaccine scarcity, we had a conversation surrounding the vaccine’s distribution and scheduling, we had an interview with the country’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Jacquiline A. Bisasor-McKenzie, in the Ministry of Health (MOH). Throughout the course of the week, the Ministry of Health and Wellness has been advising individuals who are due their second dose of the COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine to make an appointment for one of the vaccination sites operating island-wide.
To provide updates into the process and what is required to receive the second dose of the vaccine, we have Dr. Melody Ennis, the Director of Family Health Services to share with us.
“If you missed the exact Friday, the 2nd, that is the 12th week, if you missed that, you really only need to get the vaccine as soon as possible”
Dr. Melody Ennis
