With only the dream of raising the standard for his family and community Chef, Shamarley Clayton embarked on a culinary art journey. Clayton’s desire was to ensure his family could see that anything is possible if they just believe. When he started his journey food was not his primary objective nevertheless, his inspiration came from his mother, who from a young age taught him about being prepared for dinner. Clayton explains that “she would walk me through the steps of prepping from overnight and also taught me how to marinate whatever meat kind we were going to have that particular Sunday.” He fell in love with cooking and started learning from world-renowned chefs like Gordon Ramsey.
